Nagpur, March 3, 2025— The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) of Nagpur organised 'Raho Hopeful,' a youth program, on March 2, 2025, in Nagpur. The event was held to provide spiritual nourishment and guidance, with the aim of strengthening faith and fostering hope among the youth. The program was conducted under the guidance of ICYM Nagpur DEXCO, along with Rev. Fr. Anbu Xavier.
The Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Anthony D'Souza, Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Nagpur. In his homily, Fr. D'Souza emphasised the importance of authenticity and faith in the lives of young Catholics.
Participants engaged in action songs, group activities, and insightful sessions, including one led by Rev. Fr. Vincent, who explained four significant documents of the Second Vatican Council: Gaudium et Spes—The Church in the Modern World , Dei Verbum—Divine Revelation, Sacrosanctum Concilium—The Liturgy, and Lumen Gentium—The Church. This session deepened the youth's understanding of the Church's teachings and mission.
Other notable sessions included a talk by Rev. Sr. Angel on the Jubilee Cross, inspiring the youth to embrace their faith with renewed enthusiasm, and an interactive session on hope by Mr. Melwyn Titus, encouraging participants to reflect on their spiritual journey.
The event concluded with the Sacrament of Confession and a solemn Adoration, creating a prayerful atmosphere. The event's message of hope is expected to continue inspiring the youth of the Nagpur archdiocese to live their Catholic calling with enthusiasm and joy.
